Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
The publication ethics and malpractice guidelines for Hanaabu (ISSN: 1342-0267) are guided by the principles set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We are committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in all stages of the publication process. The responsibilities of authors, reviewers, and editors are outlined below:
Responsibilities of Authors
Originality and Attribution: Authors submitting manuscripts to Hanaabu confirm that their work is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration elsewhere. Proper attribution through citations is required for any content or ideas not originating from the authors.
Redundant Publication: Authors should not submit the same research to multiple journals. Such behavior is unethical and may result in the rejection or retraction of a manuscript.
Accuracy and Data Presentation: Authors must provide accurate reports of their research, along with objective discussions of its significance. Data should be presented clearly and with sufficient detail to allow replication. Misrepresentation or fabrication of data is unethical.
Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest at the beginning of the manuscript, especially if reporting on commercial products. All financial support for the research should be acknowledged.
Copyright and Licensing: Upon acceptance, authors agree to publish under a Creative Commons “Attribution-Non Commercial-Share Alike” license, retaining copyright while allowing free distribution and usage under specified conditions.
Permissions for Third-Party Content: Authors must obtain written permission for any third-party images, artwork, or content included in their manuscripts. These must be freely available under the article’s licensing terms.
Authorship and Acknowledgments: Authorship should reflect significant contributions to the research. Individuals who contributed indirectly should be acknowledged in the appropriate section of the manuscript.
Correction of Errors: Authors must inform the editors of any errors discovered in their published work. Corrections or retractions will be made as necessary.
